So Zach kidnapped me sometime around 8on Friday, I snuck out and my mom caught me so yeah I was in a bit of trouble. In the car with Zach were Josh, and Jack. We spent the whole time discussing decks all the way to Kirksville where we met up at Will’s house.
When we arrived Will and Mike Kendle were play testing, So from 11-2 we stayed over play testing and I decided to switch up to a SP deck. Me, Zach and Jack departed from Will’s house and went to Zach’s frat house, first stopping at the local gas station (Kum and Go) loading up on energy drinks, we arrived at the frat house and wow were these dudes cool. Zach hit the sack since he was the driver and didn’t want to drive while sleeping you know how that goes. Jack and I however stayed up to 4, and then he went to sleep. I tried to stay up but I woke up sprawled out on the floor with cards everywhere and a huge headache yo. At around 6:30 we woke up and met up with, Mike, Josh and Will and departed to Iowa.
3 Hours Later we arrive
And we were trying to fill out deck list and wow were the judges there strict, no lunch break until the matches were done .
Kendle and Zach challenged each other to a team battle whoever’s team gets the highest record is Swiss total wins. So it was Me, Zach and Jack on one team, and Kendle Josh and will on the other team.
The matches finally begin
Round 1
Me VS Jay (Sp VS Sp)
Jay is #1 in Iowa and this match was intense. Time was called and the prizes were I, and he 4. The judge said finish the turn he sniped out one of my honckrows, and played galactic stadium pushing out my snow point K’Oing my Crobat. After this intensity was insane. The final prizes came down and he brought up a Dialga g, and deafened me, so I couldn’t lay down any trainers or stadiums. My turn I had to attack and I tried attaching an Energy Gain thinking it was a poke tool and not a trainer, but that wasn’t happening so I couldn’t attach and next turn I got second striked. Nice Game Jay. Props to you

Me VS Zach Zomora (Sp VS Beedrill)
This match just started bad for Zach I was able to snipe his first weedle and then he played uxie while having no cards left in his hand but I power sprayed not letting him set up, next turn honckrows with dark, a poison structure and a flash bite let me win the game.

Me VS IDK (Sp VS Rapidash, Magmotar, heatran)
I just remember this match being bad for my opponent just because I got an early prize and I kept power spraying his powers.

Me VS Jack Creager (Sp VS Shaymin Mothim)
What is up with me going against my teammates yo?
I had the upper hand in the beginning but my Dialga lv x was Ko’d so no Shaymin body lock for me.

Me VS Some cool guy in shades (Sp VS Kingdra)
I never had a Kingdra match up before, in the beginning I sniped his horsea like 2 times knocking them out then he rare candied I did 40 and another 10 to him. Basically de-evoluter won me the game.

Me VS Jesse Egan (Sp VS Gengar Mespirit)
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH this deck was annoying the Gengar kept coming back and the Mespirit didn’t want me to use any powers. I finally had him beat just on account he had no more energy, and he used his night Maintnance on the gengars.
