Who orders League kits?

I'm asking for info, as this doesn't apply to me...

If a League is registered with both a store owner/manager and a League Leader ("assistant"), who orders the kits? Only the owner/manager, or can the LL also place orders?

TIA!

I doubt it matters who orders them. Whoever has the password and user name for the store will need to order them.

Maybe - I was hoping for first-hand info from LL who may have been unable to place kit orders on their ID... (I thought I had read someone posting something to the effect)

A little more info may be in order - I am asking on behalf of an NoA Porfessor who has a store that will "allow" League to be held there, but this owner wants nothing to do with it himself. So I was wondering if the LL registers the League with the Owners name (for store owner/manager fields in the application) and provides their name as League Leader (both will receive email with IDs) - will the LL have the authority to place kit orders (since they must do everything as the owner wants no part of it...) on their own ID???

Richard, as long as you have the store Log-In & password it can be done by any of the persons you listed. As the T.O. and Gym Leader I have gone in and done it for our Season 2 but the store owner did season 1

Professors are allowed to run leagues as owners or leaders. He does not need to supply the information for the owner of the store, only the address of the location that the League will be held.

League leaders, at this time, do NOT have kit ordering priveleges. We are working on our database and website to allow 'owners' to modify thier access priveleges so that they can either allow or restrict thier league leaders from ordering kits.

In your situation, the POP Professor (NOT NOA) can just register to run the league at the store (as long as he/she has permission) as the Owner of the league. Remember, owners are 'league owners' not store owners, necessarily.

We allow two groups of people to freely run leagues, Professors and retail shop owners.

Thanks,
Prof. Dav

Strange I don't seem to be able to get in. Am I supposed to use the user idea number and password I got in the e-mail they sent me when we signed up for the League?

I have ordered league kits for my league on behalf of the store owner. I am a the League Leader and a Professor.

After clearing a mix-up with the password, we didn't have a problem.

hope this helps.

Eh... do you actually have to hold the league in a store, per se?
See, I was hoping (at some point in the near/distant future) to run a league in my school library, since I go to a boarding school and my friends and I can't get to the Glasgow league most weekends...

djcati,

since this is almost wholly about US leagues and our leagues will be accessed through distributors and the distributors in the UK have yet to get going properly I would not bother just yet.... besides for new leagues we have tonnes of old WotC promo's left and the ability to ship them out to you very quickly :)

Indeed just let Iain or myself know and we can sort it out :)

Alternately if you can make Crawley on 6th December we can give you some stuff then that you can use

Oh OK
Great, thanks for the offer. ^^ Can't make it in December, unfortunately, stupid parade at school that weekend.. But if the next one's in London in Feb, I can probs be there XD;
But shipping some stuff to me would be great.. At the moment, I'm not entirely sure how many Pokemon players there'll be.. I've only had YGO people coming up to me so far 0.o (it's a general TCG club, hoping to concentrate on Pokemon...), but I'll contact you sometime after half term when it's up and running...
Thanks ^^

Thanks for the info!

So, to sum up, the Professor (1) provides his/her birthdate, (2) checks "No" for "Will you have an assistant" (unless they will be assisted by someone else), (3) needs "simply" fill out the League Registration like this:

Store/Location Name: name of store (will appear on League Locator)
Expected Size of League: as applicable
Do you already carry Pokemon TCG? Yes x No as applicable
Owner/Manager First Name: POP Professor's info (as League "owner")
Owner/Manager Last Name: POP Professor's info (will NOT be published on League Locator)
Phone Number: a valid POC tel # for League matters/questions (will appear on League Locator)
Fax Number: if applicable
E-mail Address: POP Professor's info (will NOT be published on League Locator)
Street: store address (will appear on League Locator)
City: store address (will appear on League Locator)
State/Province: store address Postal Code: store address

Hope this Helps any new or gonna-be League Leaders! Oh, and make sure to check out the thread with League Tips over here...
