Didn't comic world stop pokemon things there. Besides we would have to buy packs there, and that is expensive.
 
I posted this after exchanging emails with Mike.

He would be running the draft with, I presume, left over prerelease product. We didn't talk about cost, but you know what it's been in the past...
 
well then i guess i'll come, but it would be nice to know whats going on with comic world and pokemon.

That`s one of the things on the agenda for Saturday, Mike: The future of the League. We`ll discuss it Saturday.

As for the cost, it will be cheap as always so it`s more affordable to those that are "monetarily challenged" ;)...but maybe a tad more than usual to help support the store. All in all, we should always be thankful to the place we play in and help support it as a thank you.:)

Sounds great `Sensei.

As one of the monetarily challenged myself (plus as a playing parent I have to pay twice, once for my son and once for me) I don't mind at all paying extra so that the store where we play gets more benefit from having us there.

This sounds like a win/win deal.

Now, this begs the question (for those that will attend): Do we want to do a Booster draft or do we want to do it Sealed (Prerelease style)? ;)
 
I'm not 100% sure if I will be able to come. I'll know for sure by tomorrow evening. If I do come, I'd say a Sealed Deck tournament. If it winds up being a draft, it would be my first one.​

Congrats to everyone that came! We all had fun and everyone was a great sport. Awesome kudos to Allison for her 1st Booster draft!. Even though she didn`t win a game, she drafted like a pro and had a blast the whole time!! Also, congrats to Mike P for the only undefeated record. Overall results below.
