Why no League in the Austin area?

I recently moved from the Seattle area (Hi Jeff!) to the Austin area.

The nearest league is either San Antonio (100 miles) or Fort Worth (about 150 miles).

Just wondering why there is not a league in the Austin area?

If there is please let me know.

I talked to some guys from UT (by email and phone) about Regionals, but I don't know if they made it out. We were swamped and didn't really have a chance to chat with all the new faces at the event.

We have a son who goes to UT, but is just too busy to do Pokemon. He won't be around in the summer either due to an internship.

Thanks for the info! Just hope this gets going soon. I would try to go to the one in Bryan, but drving 80 miles just to play cards seems a bit silly (especially with gas so darn expensive!).
