Please join us on December 7 for the first Streamwood Pokémon League Challenge Tournament a Pokémon premier event at Poplar Creek Library in lovely Streamwood, Illinois!

League Challenge tournaments are designed to provide players with small, entry-level events on a local scale. These events are a great way to get your feet wet in the world of

Premier Events. In the Pokémon Trading Card Game League Challenge tournaments, players in each of the three POP-recognized age divisions can work toward earning Championship Points, potentially earning an invitation to the World Championships!

Registration is strictly from 9am to 9:45am..No exceptions! Decklist must be turned in with registration.

To participate in the event, you must be a player in good standing and abide by the Pokémon Tournament Rules and all other applicable event rules. Players who are found to be

in violation of the rules of eligibility are subject to suspension from Pokémon Organized Play and to the loss of prizes, including, but not limited to, invitations and travelawards.

In addition, players should be aware of the following:
A player’s deck (for TCG) must comply with the Modified Format as outlined in the Pokémon Tournament Rules.
Deck lists required (blank decklists and player IDs available at event)

All players are expected to bring their Player ID card, if they have one. If they have not previously been given a Player ID, one can be obtained at the event.

Players should review the Pokémon Tournament Rules for more information about what to bring to an event.
We and the library are not responsible for lost or stolen items so please only bring what you need and keep all of your items with you!

No selling of any kind is allowed. If you are caught selling, you will be removed from the library as its against their rules.

No vendor will be on-site so please make sure to bring your damage counters, dice, poison/burn markers, etc.

The tournament is run using the Standard Format and Age-Modified Swiss pairings. See the Pokémon Tournament Rules for information about the Standard Format and Swiss. The number of Swiss rounds to be run will depend on total attendance at the event. We will have single-game Swiss rounds 30 minutes +3 turns. League Challenge tournaments do not include a Single-Elimination portion; placement in the event is determined by final Swiss standings.
