If you check out http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/sweeps.jsp, you'll see that a cool contest that starts on the 6th for My Nintendo members. Each week prizes will be given away which includes:

  • Pokémon-e TCG decks,
  • The Legend of Zelda two-game bonus discs (featuring Ocarina of Time and Master Quest),
  • playable demo discs or
  • one-year subscriptions to Nintendo Power.
Now here is the big one, a 2001 Lugia PT Crusier is up for grabs. In case you don't know. It is a Crysler PT Crusier custom designed to look like the great Guardian of the Sea, Lugia. I know that a full operational N64, TV and VCR is in the back and the car is a dream to drive. (I even sat in one back in the day). So in order to enter, you must sign up for a My Nintendo account. This account accesses secret parts to all Nintendo operated sites such as www.nintendo.com, www.pokemon-tcg.com, and www.pokemon-games.com plus many more! It is also a useful tool when the time arises to deal with Customer Service, and makes ordering items from http://store.nintendo.com easy. Once you sign up you are automatically entered to win prizes (plus a entry for the car) every single week. This contest starts on the 6th of October and goes on for 17 weeks! Cool huh so head to www.nintendo.com to get in on the game.

Well, whoever wins that Lugia thing isn't that lucky, it actually looks really ugly, and according to rumors, those things need major repairs.

Why would you want to get the car repainted it is too cool. Sure it is not the kind of car you would you use to go to work or do errons, but I think it would be a blast to bomb around in.

If I won the Cruiser, I'd probably keep it around for a little while, then sell it on eBay. It's not that the car isn't cool; it's just that I need tuition money more than I need a car with an N64 in it

Ah... I'm still waiting for them to release a Flygon DeLorean...

My dad is looking into getting a PT Cruiser, but there's no way I'll be able to persuade him into driving one that looks like a pokemon... He's still busy trying to brainwash me into hating Pokemon. :p

I just wondering how old you have to be to win the car, since you can't drive it till you are over 16 ;) unless your parents let you take it out before that. :D Not that I am supporting under age driving. Does it give a age requirment to enter for the PT?

I believe that it is a general rule for any given contest that if a winner is under 18, it is awarded to the winner's parents/guardians.
