The Senior World Champion is my son and yes he was playing Empoleon and loved playing it! I am a huge Piplup fan, so I was thrilled that he played it and won!

Worlds had some very awesome decks. Congrats to all winners, glad to see Blissey in T2.

a satanist (Atanassov?) won with only 4 basic pokemon in his deck. He never mulligan in 2 match (the probably to start with 0 pokemon is like 68% with only 4 basic) and threw 7/8 heads on er2.
So, Simone Soldo (the last italian in Masters) lost to SATAN!!!

so, 1st round finished. News, please?

I ran 7 basics. 4 Chansey, 3 Chatot. I went 7-1 in the grinder lost to the best player there Chuck (Alex.B.). I went 5-2 losing to some guy round 2 with empo and Yamato round 7. I hit 3-4 against Siemone. I will the first to admit that that is ridiculously lucky. But read chucks report i missed 3 against him you get lucky and unlucky. But overall i went 13-4.
