This is a little story of how worlds went for Jacob T, a junior from Texas who came in 7th place at worlds and also the deck that I used.

Game 1
It was a pretty decent start. I got pachirisu as my start. With an energy and a claydol in my hand. I got gardy and gallade up and all he had was a gallade so I won that one.
Game 2 this one I got up first . I locked him until he knocked me out it was was 2 to 4 I sonic bladed then brought down his jirachi to win the game.
Game 3 I got claydol and gallade out quick. Then I had a gardy lv.x and brought down the rest of his stuff. Another win.
Gme 4 I faced a kid from japan and I did’nt have such of a good start. He got gardy and gallade t2 so he was doing well. Thankfully I got a rarecandy with Claydol so I could get a telepass up and running. After turns of locking and cutting it got down to 1 to1.
It was his turn he used rare candy on his ralts to a gardevoir and used psychic lock.
Then he tried to take it back because iwas going to knock him out but there is no other attack on gardevoir so he couldn’t take it back. I sheid beamed him for the win.
Game 5 I had a perfect setup I T2ed a fully powered gallade and wiped through that person. My 5th win
Game 6 I faced Brian Hathaway and had a t2 gallade but he absolved every thing out of my hand before I could get it up. I lost that one.
Game 7 I got donked by a banbliss.
I was 9th in swiss so I made top cut.
Finals game one
Round one
He was playing togechomp so all I cared about was locking him to death.
Luckly I got a turn 4 gardy so he couldn’t do much. I won easily.
He got a perfect start and I couldn’t get much so I lost. we went to sudden death.
We both put out 1 prize. I drew 2 Claydols and a pachirisu so I was set. I got up gardy lvx
And brought down his baltoy for the win.
Game 2
I wiped through this person pretty easily the first game.
I got gardevoir and gallade up pretty quick. With a claydol in my hand and a call energy start.
2nd game I got crushed by a t2 empoleon.
I wiped through the person like the first game only it was a little bit tougher.
Game 3
I got killed both games by Toxicroak scissor (the eventual winner) since I was playing plox.
