Worlds Opeining Ceremony Video: Who Made It?

I've heard a lot of comments about how everyone thought this was very cool, and a really neat way to show the Pokemon TCG stats with the music and such, and welcome in the start of the Worlds 2008 tournament. I wish they had the whole thing to see again on the Worlds site, but they edited a lot of it out. My son would like to watch it again.

Thanks for the link. It is pretty good coverage of almost the whole thing.
For the past 2 years the opening videos have been awesome and a very good way to get everyone energized. The reason they look very professional is because they were professionally produced. Many of the PTOs have been asking for access to them so we can use them at our events, but they are done and used in some way by the Marketing department and so far we've not been able to get permission to use them.

I would just love to have a place to view the entire video. We wanted to show it to family and friends. It was really great fun and as you said energizing.
Still doesn't answer who did it. Was it the people who dub they show? The people who do the ads? That guy who made that unoffical Barack Obama ad parodying "1984"?
I'd say the person that makes the ads since some of it was made up of the LA commerical (the beginning with the pokemon walking) and part of it was made up of the cartoon (the newest DP opening) with some motion graphics and warped images of Pokemon.

Unfortunily yoshi you may never get a straight answer but i think BDS said it best when he mentioned that its marketing and they probabily have a close lip on who actually produces the commercial. Also great coverage of the video and some of the opening ceremony

VIDEO WAS EPIC! Would like to see it in offically relesed on OP site or the worlds minisite, I dont think the low qualty of it on youtube is good
It's very difficult to film a screen of any sort using a video camera, particularly when you have no foreknowledge that the video is about to be shown (I'm not taking offense at what you're saying, I'm just stating what the technical difficulties are). It may be possible for me to re-edit the video to provide a better view of the screen, though.

Click on the original link, there is a part in the beginning of the vid that takes u to the better quality one. That was a cool vid. Do they have this every year?

Not certain, but heard from a couple of the kids that it was from one of the movies...maybe that will give you a hint.

I don't think so. I heard it on a TV commercial for Australia's Top Supermodel as well. I've heard it a number of places non Pokemon related but can never find out what the song is ;_;
