What is the strategy behind this deck?
Crogunk does 20 to ralts. Toxicroak turn 2 KO's it with Paralyze Poisen .
if they start with Baltoy, you do 10, next turn Paralyze Poisen and they are KO'd at the end of your opponents turn, meaning you get a free attack.
if they start with Duskull, well... yea same story as Baltoy.
Toxicroak 2HKO's Gallade (because of Poisen) and gets a chance on Paralysis.
Scizor smacks around G&G mid to late game by doing 80. (or even early game if they try to Gallade rush)
and Gardy cant take on Scizor easily because of his resistance to Psy.
Scizor/Beach hurts Leafeon decks too much,
(even if they have up to 4 Windstorms, Scizor hitting for 80 almost constantly is brutal)
Empoleon decks have a hard time setting up when Cessation stops their Claydol.(most Empoleons had ditched Windstorm for Warp Point, or only ran 1 windstorm)
once they get an Empoleon out,(with no Special Energies on it) you OHKO with Trode.
if they get an Empoleon with Special Energies on it, you use Paralyze Poisen, and next turn Scizor's Special Blow KO's it (because of poisen). and you save your Trode to OHKO an Empoleon later.
they usally only get 1 to 2 Empoleons out, so as long as Trode isn't prized, it's usually an easy matchup (although it's the toughest out of the 3 decks)
