Would POP consider stealing considered Unsportsmanlike Conduct?

Hey guys,

In Pokemon Organized Play's view, would the event of a player stealing card(s) or item(s) from another player be considered an act of severe unsportsmanlike conduct during a course of a tournament? What about during an offical league session, would POP have any involvement there? If so, as Tournament Organizer/League Leader what actions should be deemed appropriate?

This happened at my league very recently and we banned that player from the league and store (due to store regulations) however I am wondering what is your opinion on such matters. Thanks for your time.

Yes. It's definitely unsportsmanlike.

If it's a tournament, it should result in the player being removed from the tournament, and asked to leave the site of the event. We don’t have objections about a store owner having to ban that person from their store.

If it's a league, there aren't tournament penalties assigned. The store employee has the right and duty to the store to kick the person out.
