I was looking at a Mesprit when i realized how similar the attack is to Yanmega, and how pokepower locks drive me crazy i thought i'd try it out

    ~Pokes-20
    Yanmega Prime - 4-4
    Mesprit La - 3
    uxie La - 2
    Sunflora hgss - 2-2
    Crobat G - 2
    giratina pl - 1

    ~Trainers-32
    Copycat-4
    Judge-2
    Ssu-4
    Seeker-4
    Pluspower-4
    Dex-3
    Bts-4
    Expert Belt-2
    Poke Collector-2
    Palmers-1
    junk arm-2

    ~Energy-8
    Rescue-4
    Psychic-4

    Strategy
Normal Yanmega strategy of speed, but while Yanmega is doing the work, there are ssus and seekers to provide Mesprit with some pretty constant locks :) and uxie and crobat work well in there
With the psychics in there you can actually use Mesprit's Extrasensory

    problems
i'm not sure if the large number of supporters will slow yanmega down too much
looking around i saw people use pokedrawers..
    i'm sure there're more

fascinating! I actually just got done running a Yanmega/Umbreon deck for OK states this year and it did alright! Mesprit was teched in, but i did not play it in the way that i could have two psychic energies on it to attack like yanmega.

    my advice:

+4 Broken Time Space - it will help you instantly lay down yanma and yanmega!
    - 1-1 Shaymin line - too slow :C
    +1 Expert Belt
    -4 Plus power
    -3 Copycat
+1 Giratina Let Loose - his pokepower basically works like judge!!!

i thought about bts, and i have miasma valley in there but i wasn't sure if bts would end up hurting me more than helping, but i guess they're worth it, i mean it could donk if i'm lucky

So many Sp pokes have just over 70 health, the pluspowers really help, and i don't have to risk belting
but wow, good call on the giratina

I think i'll add 2 junk arm, cuz my list is at 58, and i could always use more ssu :)

hmmm well expert belt is really the only thing that will let you survive the gyarados and regigigas matchups! I run three and tank with a belted yanmega. i then switch out to a fresh yanmega with belt and ko dos as i seeker up the damaged one (Gyarados often belts for 110 so i would have 20 left).

teching in crobat G helps a lot vs sp, as well as umbreon UD with moonlight fang. crobat G flash bite + seeker plus flash bite again + belted yanmega ='s KO'ed luxray!!!
