You may want to check your prerelease Kirlia.

Not to start a panic or anything, but at our pre-release most of the promo cards I saw or traded for had a 1/2" scratch on the top of the card (in the exact same spot).


However the Staff promos seem to be free from that scratch.

Mine has a smudge on the golden prerelease Pokeball.

Hmmm, production problems I guess.

Try looking at the back of the card where the stamp is. It seems the stamp was really deep, and you can see it in the back.

At our prerelease, most of them had the deep impression like secretsof2113 noted, so you can see it, pretty clearly, on the back.

The impression on my Prerelease Kirlia is very faint, and looks like a very light stapler mark. No impression on the back.
