Invite and strike says Switch the Defending Pokemon with one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. This attack does 20 damage to the nre Defending Pokemon.
Expert Belt says The Pokemon this card is atached to gets + 20 HP and that Pokemon's attacks do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon, before applying Weakness and resistance.
Now, I was playing someone and he had a Benched Garchomp C LVX. He Ko'ed my Raichu the turn before so I advanced my Zangoose. I attached Expert Belt to it and 1 Plus Power and set Crobat G to my Bench to put 10 damage on the Garchomp C LVX.
I used Invite and Strike to finish it off. It was confused n how I could do it . 20 damage for the attack+ 20 damage from Expert Belt+ 10 damage from Plus Power= 50 damage x 2 because of the weakness for 100+ the 10 from a Crobat G drop for a total of 110 damage.
He said I could not do that because Expert Belt and Plus Power does not apply to Invite and Strike because the attack does not have any base damage. I told him as long as the attack does damage, I can add damage to the attack. He said I could not.
Can you clear this up for me. I know I can do this but I not need any confusion on this later on.
