Zapdos G Lightning Strike

Lightning Strike says:

You may discard all :lightning: Energy attached to Zapdos G. If you do, this attack's base damage is 80 instead of 40.

Does this apply only to a Lightning Energy card or would SP Energy, Multi Energy or Rainbow Energy have to be discarded to meet this condition?

Any energy that provides Lightning energy would have to be discarded, so those would have to be discarded too.
