Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Zekrom in Episode 1?

I was just watching episode one of the first season, and what happened with all the pidgey looked a lot like what was going on with Zekrom in BW ep.1. Reasons:

- a huge storm came out of the middle of nowhere, and left quickly like when Zekrom comes and goes
- "thudershock" was a huge blast of electricity, and since when is a puny lv. 5 (presumably) Pikachu going to be able to do something like that? It looks like pikachu started attacking, but Zekrom intervened.
- Pikachu was lying on the ground afterwards, all beat up, even though it was the one attacking
- ALL the spearow were knocked out, and even though they were probably about lv. 2-3, I don't think Pikachu could defeat the few hundred of them

I know it's really random, but it's a neat coincidence.

Ho-Oh is in that episode (its either that one or the second episode). I don't know about Zekrom though.

It would be pretty cool, but I sincerely doubt they had even a CLUE that they would get to Diamond/Pearl, much less B/W. If it was anyone, it was Raikou. It would be logical that Raikou intervienes in Ash's life at some point, and would also explain why Ash has never met him (the only legendary Ash hasn't met) in the rest of the Pokemon franchise (movies, TV, etc). Raikou, as a roaming legendary coulda happened upon the situation, let loose a Thunder, and skedaddled away lickety-split withouth Ash or Pikachu the wiser.

Either that or lazy writing by the creators to come up with a way for Ash and Pikachu to bond and settle their differences early on.

He sort of met Raikou in the Master of Illusions movie.

I think that they are starting to annoy me.......

The Thunderstorm could have easily been Zapdos, not Zekrom, although yes Ho-Oh
did make an appearance in ep1.
