Zoroark Questions Foul Play

Ok, I know you've gotten a million of these, and I'm sure this one has been asked...I'll admit I didn't bother looking first, and as an experienced Pokegymer I know I’m supposed to….so feel free to reply with any manner of sarcasm you feel is necessary :wink:

Zoroark’s Foul Play.

Ok, so I know that with Blue Flare he DOES NOT have to discard. I got that.


1.) If I copy Zekrom’s Bolt Strike do I deal 40 damage to myself. I would assume not since it does not say “Zekrom does 40 damage to itself or this attack does nothing” or "In order to use this attack" as that is what designates what Foul Play copies in reguards to Blue Flare….I believe, but am not 100%

2.) Same scenario, but I Foul Play Copy Cleffa’s eeeeek. Am I asleep? Again I don't think so, but not 100%

1. You do what you can. You can do 40 damage to yourself, so you do.

2. Zoroark would be Asleep.

Remember, if you had fire energy (or rainbow energy) on Zoroark, you WOULD discard it for Blue Flare.
