I was wondering, let's say that I use Quagsire GL's attack, which does 40 damage and I switch out of the active spot. If my opponent has a Nidoking RR in play, would I still take 2 damage counters if I chose to switch to the bench?

I am asking this since switching out attacks stopped Gengar's Feinting Spell from activating.

First off, switching out attacks DO NOT stop Fainting Spell from KO'ing you!

You can see the rulings on this Power here, including this situation: http://compendium.pokegym.net/compendium-lvx.html#297

Territoriality would work similarly. Quagsire GL would still have 2 damage counters placed on it.
