Burden of a day just released a new album! thier first album, Pilots and paper planes, sounded like they were trying to mimic Underoath's The Changing Of Times. Thier second album, Blessed be our ever after, sounded like they were trying to mimic Underoath's Define The Great Line. thier new album, "oneonethousand" has its own unique sound to it. the only way i can describe it is a mix of August burns red, Rush, Cartel, Underoath and saosin. In a way they sound heavier, but the chorus's and outros/Bridges sound pop punky and emo. (like in "Isadora Duncan" and "Remember") They take risks with thier songs as if they have been around as long as underoath.(by risks i mean writing songs that a majority of thier fanbase might not like) thier new CD is probably gonna be at the top of the Metal/Punk Charts. discuss.

Suprisingly good for a new band, I have to say.

I have to say, I like their music! I'd always wanted another harder band to listen too, and this seems to fit the bill.

Can you give any hints on which songs would be best to listen to to get an impression :P ?

Although the name sounds like they're some typical grunt/metal/hard/whatever core band of whom there are just too many :P (someone tell me how that sentence should in a grammatical correct way, it sounds awful but i cant figure it out xD)

Remember is a good one. As well as Modern Gentleman.

I love the way you described the genre!

I don't usually like these screaming bands... but these guys are pretty good.

Can i just say how i always, since i joined his site, or since you joined this site, questioned the sanity of your username, but now i get it. Lool, kinda funny. But yeah, there new album is good. Pretty decent, never head them before, but remind me of a cross between Coheed and Cambria and A day to remember.

This band isn't all that bad.

Now, I am a MAJOR Metal Head, listening to metal ranging from not so heavy Prog/Power Metal to the heaviest of Melodic Death/Death/Black.

I go out of my usual music every once in a while, this would probably be one of those bands.

They remind me of a lighter The Devil Wears Prada and a not as good Blessed By A Broken Heart

7/10 for me looking at them for today

 they remind me of a cross between rush and A day to remember, but i see where you get the Coheed part from, they have the same annoying voice as rush's lead singer!
