This is my deck that I made cause it seemed interesting to play. When metagross came out I thought that it could actually replace crobat.

The stratergy is the same as mother gengar, but instead of using crobats I use metagross. Please help me with my deck.

Pick either Mother Gengar, or Meta-Ghost. Not both.

What about a 1-1-1 metagross?

yayaya you called it meta ghost. keep spreading it around lol
and you have a lot of pokemon, so yeah pick either mother genar or Meta-Ghost, i would suggest playing metaghost, which does even better with crobat G so theres no need to replace it.
-2-1-2 nidoqueen -1-0-1 dusknoir +2 crobat G +4 poketurn +1 miasma valley (when comboed with metagross it makes your opponents basics lose 40 HP when played if they arent psychic or grass type. lets say the drop a baltoy down, it loses 20 from miasma and 20 from metagross. now just drop a crobat g to KO it and you havent even attacked yet!)

I know crobat is good but I wana use metagross intsead of crobat. I will cut out the 1-0-1 dusknoir and a 1-0-1 line of either metagross or nidoqueen but what should i put in?

having them both together is just going to clog up your bench. but if you insist id say -1-0-1 nidoqueen -1-0-1 dusky +1 crobat G +3 turns. combining crobats and metagross makes for a much faster KO then just metagross.
or you can add in 2 miasma valley (also goes with metagross nicely) and +1 unown G +1 warp point
-1 FIGHTING ENERGY !>!!!?!?! and +1 call energy, and you should seriously think about taking out that last 1-1-1 of nidoqueen for +1 more call and 2 metals in case metagross ever has to attack, which it will eventually. or if metang has to attack you can use his attack, 40 +10 for each energy attached to the defending pokemon

The reason I like the Queen is because it's a backup attacker. So I think I will try out both the 2-1-2 metagross with bats but i'm also going to try out 1-1-1 metagross with 2-1-2 queen and bats.
I'm also not going to use call's because 1) I don't have them and 2) I find I need a psychic but I get a call. Also what do you think of 2 bats and 2 poke turns?

you know that we have a pychic baltoy now right. and you should run 4 poke turns
and 2 crobats thats the best way to do it.

yeah but im assuming people will like the fighting one better since you can get cards into your hand with its attack. i saw the psy one at a pre-release but i dont remember what it does lol
edit
I just looked at psychic baltoy. its alright since it doesnt need any specific kind of energy to attack, but it doesnt have the drawing ability fighting one does. and it still gets lowered to 30 hp with SV metagross anywas, so both baltoys are OHKO able with gengar now =P

The baltoy isn't that good though so not alot of people will play it. That is, unless miasma gets popular.

I decided that 2-1-2 Queen is better for me then the 2-1-2 metagross as I found that I like to use queen as a backup attacker and not just a tech.
Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:
I also like the bat idea better then the miasma. Havn't decided on 2 bats or 1 cause with one it's in my prizes every so often but with 2, I have it as my only starter sometimes

i play 2 bats in mine and almost never get a lone crobat g start. but i play 3 call energy so if that happens i hopefully can just call for somethin else lol

I think i'm going to go with the 2 bats cause they have free retreat incase I have it as lone start. Thanks for all the help on my deck:thumb: Keep the suggestions coming!:biggrin:
