Parasect, Electrode[EX], Magneton. Weird title I know...
Pokemon: 19
x4 Paras
x3 Parasect
x3 Voltorb [HL]
x2 Electrode ex
x1 Electrode [HL]
x3 Magnemite [FR/LG]
x3 Magneton [Dragons]
Trainers: 21
x3 TV Reporter
x3 Oak's Research
x3 Steven's Advice
x3 Celio's Network
x2 VS Seeker
x3 Switch
x2 Pokedex Handy 909
x1 Ancient Tomb
x1 Low Pressure System
Energy: 20
x8 Lightning
x6 Grass
x3 Double Rainbow
x3 Boost
Still have to take out boost for RS-On, but I'll leave it in for this post since it's being reprinted eventually. Anyway, on to the actual deck stratedgy. Paras gets the basics (mini dunsparce of course) then evolves to Parasect and starts getting energy in play with it's first attack. Electrode Ex and Magneton both benefit from more energy in place plus both abuse boost and double rainbow as well. Ancient Tomb helps out on the fighting weakness somewhat, although it still will pose a problem. With a good start this can beat Monarchy though, although at a disadvantage type wise. Like most stage one decks this sets up fast, and it can hit hard as well. Paras is the ideal starting pokemon but the others can work if I have to start with them. It's a fun deck to play and it can win games, plus parasect can fight. XD >_>' I've also tried this with Exeggutor from FR/LG for better type coverage (replacing electrode). However Electrode[EX]'s consistant damage and the ablity to get back double rainbows is very useful. =P Also I hate flips. x_X
For the Exeggutor version simply...
-1 Grass
-4 Lightning
-3 Voltorb
-3 Electrode
-1 Ancient Tomb
+5 Psychic
+3 Exeggcute
+3 Exeggutor
+1 Desert Ruins
That's about it...When I first made this deck it was Parasect/Magneton/ElectrodeEX/Exeggutor...I don't know how...but it won games. o_o;. 4 Stage 1s, while fun, was crazy and overly excessive. So I opted for more reliablity and cut out the exeguttor and changed some of the pokemon ratios.
