This is Kerath (that's an H, not an I) from the Pokeschool forums. Members of the board are working on a project to complete the meanings of the names of all Pokémon. Example: Ampharos's name comes from Amp and Pharos, a lighthouse in the Middle East. This project will wipe out all other Origin of Names lists on the web. When it is done, we will share it with everyone who owns a website. We ask for your help. Even a one-word contribution is helpful.
