Hello,

And major props for P.O.P choosing Indy for Nats this year!

Anyone know of any good deals on hotels in the area preferably in walking distance? Also, has P.O.P made any hotel discount rates?

Thanks and please share your hotel deals if you can! :thumb:

This links you to a compilation of hotel and restaurant information. Click on the hotel one and it brings up a map with a list of hotels right around the blocks adjacent to the conventions center. Thanks to the original poster for putting it up for us too.

Hope this helps. You'd have to check the individual hotels to see what their prices are, etc. but it's a start.

I went to Priceline. (First Time) I am sure other Travel / Hotel sites work also.
1. Click on Hotels
2. Pull Down Menu of Landmark (Rather than City),
3. Type "Indiana Convention Center" Enter
4. Click on Map View Tab The Marriot is just outside Hall C. Many Walkable hotels.

I booked at the Westin. Others I know have booked at the Conrad Hilton and the Hyatt. But I will let you figure out.

Note that Parking will be expensive downtown. Don't be suprised. ($25-40 per day!)

Thank you for the link, but I would like to know the phone numbers for the hotels. They don't even have the hotel address.

Click on the red beds on the map. It gives you phone number and addresses. And star ratings. And a link to the web site. And a link to reviews.

..I used Craigslist, posted asking for a week's lodging in someone's house(Preferable) and am only paying $200 for the whole weeks stay. Gotta' buy my own food, but still.

Economy class, wooooo!
