So I preordered this game after playing the first one before the servers went offline. I love it! It's just as addicting as the first one. Has anyone else tried this game yet? Have you gone online?

Been thinking about getting it, I have one of the older ones for the PSP and it's been relatively fun.

I watched my friends play the 2nd one on PSP. And it does seem like fun but it seems to get boring. Since basically all you do is hunt the monster, and then grind to get enough good equips to go onto the next boss monster and repeat. Its like an MMO but without all the little quests to me.

Actually Monster Hunter is pretty much all quest based. There's like one free play area, but that's about it (and only in Tri).
