I've got a question for you all. I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to travel to nationals (carpooling) from Utah. It's looking like I might be able to pull it off, but there is one unknown cost: That being parking at the Convention Center. Does anybody know how much it costs, or know of a cheap way to park around there?

If you're staying in a hotel, just park there and use public transportation. It can't be that bad.

I may end up in a hotel that will be upwards of 7 miles away from the Convention Center. I suppose I could use public transportation, though. It's worth trying, should parking be too much.

Everywhere I've checked has said Parking is at least 20$ a night downtown almost no matter where you go. There are a bunch of parking ramps around the CC and all i've checked have had 15-20$ daily maximums, if your getting free in and out though that's not totally unreasonable

Im staying at the Omni and its $24 per day for valet parking or they said there was a near by parking garage the was $18 per day but if you exit you would have to pay again.

What I don't understand is why the hotels are charging for parking. You're already paying to stay at the hotel, and then have to pay an extra $20 a night for parking?! Good lord!

Heck, I am paying almost half the night fee just for parking!

Calculating that it will cost me around $130 just for parking! OMG!

We stayed at a hotel in LA that charged $45 a night for parking. Do that math.
