TRR's Kingdra's Hyper Whirlpool states "Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard an Energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon."
Who chooses the Energy card(s) to discard, you or the opponent?

Q. TRR Kingdra's "Hyper Whirlpool" says "Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard an Energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon." Who chooses the Energy card(s) to discard, you or the opponent?
A. The wording on Kingdra's "Hyper Whirlpool" is different than the same attack on Blastoise-EX. For Blastoise-EX the opponent chooses which energy to discard. But for Kingdra, the attacker gets to choose. (Mar 10, 2005 PUI Rules Team)
