Ruby Help - can you catch charmander,squirtle,bulbasaur in Ruby?

Related question. I'm sure that Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle were coded into the game. What abilities did they get?

The same as the 3 Ru/Sa starters, I think.

Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle have the same abilities as the R/S starters(and incidentally, so do Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile).

Also, there's a few Abilities I've heard of that can be found only on Pokémon that aren't catchable in the game.

The is a way to get them though, but you'll have to wait to see them on your R/S game.

They are catchable with AR, Colleseum, and the new Red/Green games, but are not catchable within R/S itself.
