Are all my cards expired? Please help :O

When I was a kid, I collected a lot of cards. Of course, they were part of Base Set, Base Set 2, Jungle, Fossil, And Team Rocket.

So are they expired and I can't use them in the modified tourneyments around here? If so, does that mean I have to get all new energy cards and trainor cards?
