Hi everyone, i was looking on sixprizes.com today and there was a new article about Machamp Umbreon
however it was underground content and ive just got a basic membership. So i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea to what machamp umbreon is.

Machamp SF + Umbreon UD

Champ kills SP

Umbreon counters Vilegar (probably Champs worst match up) and a few other decks as well.

^ true. Umbreon UD also counters ANOTHER bad match-up for Machamp, Donphan.

If you play in an area where SP and Vilegar are popular, then it's worth a shot.

If it's forcing you to attack with Phanpy, it's obviously doing something right.

Its the only counter of the deck and the counter is easily countered. So this deck shouldnt beat Donphan

Let's see:

I use Umbreon's attack to do 30 to a random Pokemon.

You can't use Phanpy's attack so you just send it out so it gets hit again.

They send out Machamp and use Take out on Phanpy.

You bring out Donphan and hit for 60.

I keep doing this strategy with Umbreon and you keep giving away free prizes from Phanpy's.

Not easily countered, no.

Not saying it auto wins Donphan because of this tech, but it does help a lot.

It makes things inconvenient for the Donphan player, which is sometimes enough to sneak a win in a bad match up.

Other than that, I agree with Yoshi, it shouldn't turn it in Champ's favour.

Steelix has a hard time against Umbreon. Trying to get KOs with Swing Around Onix and Chanseys isn't much fun.

Most lists I've seen have 2 Steelix Prime and 1 SF steelix just in case of Umbreon.
