Blaze FB Jetshoot and poltergeist

If my opponent uses the attack poltergeist on my blaze fb and i have no trainers supporters or stadiums in my hand do i still take the +40 from jet shoot or is it ignored because he is not doing any base damage?

Like all such addiitions, you have to do some damage before a modifier can add to it.
