Jalorda - Grass - HP130
Stage 2 - Evolves from Janovy

Ability: Royal Heal
As long as this Pokemon is in play, in between turns, restore 10 HP to each of your Pokemon.

[G][C] Grass Mixer: 60 damage. Choose any number of Grass Energy attached to your Pokemon and move it to your Pokemon in any way you like.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Water (-20)
Retreat: 1

Without any restrictions on how many you can use per turn, you can possibly heal 50 damage in between each turn and have a decent attacker out... What do you think?

I don't think Nidoqueen is even needed...Pokemon Center, on the other hand, might prove to make this thing even more fun. The ability to move energy around definitely helps.

Yeah forgot about that.

With Pokemon Center you can have 6 damage off per turn.

Only thing is that Pokemon Center also heals your opponent's Benched Pokemon, which isn't cool. Besides, with the lack of spread decks, why would you need to heal even more off your Benched?

Finally, this is assuming they don't do a wacky cut and chop off RR...which at any rate, 4 Jalorda healing 4 damage counters inbetween every turn is already quite a bit, likely forcing you to OHKO one since anything less will be largely healed off by the time your next turn comes around.

yeah this should make us see some decent grass decks next year, and since its a starter poke hopefully we should be able to get 2-3 copies of it easily (tins, preconstructed etc)

Five stage 2s? In a format without Claydol? I really don't see this happening. Jalorda's pretty nice, but that kind of setup is expecting too much. It assumes that you've got the perfect way to get it out, none of the basics or stage 2s are in your prizes, and that your opponent isn't doing anything about it. Lemme guess. You've also got Expert Belts attached to all of your Jalordas and a Landmin LvX on the bench, too, right? It sounds like a perfect counter to Spread decks, too, but those decks just got the Heal Block Solrock. We don't even know what else is in the set, so there might be a beastly fire type to take these Pokemon down easily as well.

That said, I like this Jalorda, and depending on what the rest of the set brings, it could be competetive. I just don't see this happening consistently.

I heard there's this card called Luxray GL Level X which has free retreat that can drag up pokemon.

That aside, don't underestimate this guy, at all. I can see some really nasty things coming from this card. Honestly, I don't think you need Nidoqueen in this deck, mostly because removing up to four damage counters between turns (Thats EIGHTY HP'S BEFORE YOUR OPPONENTS NEXT TURN) is insane enough. I honestly don't think you even need Pokemon Center with the way this guy works.

I was thinking Exploud is still in format. :P

Dialga lvx also shuts down all your poké-bodies

Abilities are Poke-bodies now?

@Naki: I heard theres a card called Lunatone that prevents you from dmg-ing my lunatone/solrock using lv. x. And even if you manage to take out one, i can easily comm/collector one out before you can heal.

I was also thinking that exploud has almost never seen successful play so far. And your bench space will also become a issue with it since u have so many bench warmers.

So far, in japan, all the poke-powers and bodies are merged into one under abilities. BUT the format in japan is HGSS on so there are no cards that can lock abilities so far.

Keep in mind that a card locking Bodies will probably be unable to lock Abilities, much as how Dialga G LVX cannot lock the old Pokémon Powers.

I should have mentioned that I didn't plan on attacking with the Luxray. I am well aware of that Lunatone (Its the best one), and Luxray GL Level X can benefit from Poketurn, in which case Solrock then gets OHKO'd by Jalorda.

I was also thinking that exploud has almost never seen successful play so far. And your bench space will also become a issue with it since u have so many bench warmers.

Thats mostly due to Dialga G Level X and the fact that its never been overly beneficial to remove weakness. I also completely forgot about Metapod HG/SS which does the same thing as Exploud except is Stage 1. That removes the "Too many Stage 2's makes a deck clunky" factor.
