What I'd like to find out though, is if we'll have an equal amount of GC's to last year?

Probably the game, possibly greater, given that more stores have started getting back into Pokemon (there is at least 1 new tourney store in NE Illinois, 2 in Northern IL). Ya never really know...

About how many gym challenges were there last year? I didn't compete in any premiere events last tourney season--spent most of May (when i got back into the game) through August or so readjusting to the game and aquiring cards from all the ex sets (since I hadn't played since the first team rocket set). I'm looking forward to all the upcoming premiere events--I just hope that the regionals in May that are close enough for me to attend don't fall during my finals exams in college which will be mid May.

There were at least 50, I think there were more. Go back in the archives to check in this board about last year. I'm fairly sure there'll be more this year, what with more regions getting more involved in this game.

Man.. they should put some of this stuff in canada.... I dont want to come down to the states... then not make it to the world tourney....
