SciLix will cut you!(Steelix/Scizor)

So, I was bored this morning and decided that I wante to make a deck just for fun and didn't really wanna take it competitively(unless it works out really well). So, I said: "Hey, Why not make a Steelix Scizor deck?"

So, Here it is:

Now, this decks strategy is essentially to do the most power, while trying to prevent the most damage possible to your pokemon. Scizor Prime can prevent all damage done to it by your pokemon with any special energies attached to it. While you prevent damage to Scizor Prime from pokemon with special energies, you can also do 80 damage(100 if belted) with the MD Scizor to those pokemon.

Steelix Prime is a really good card in this deck because not only can he not be affected by any special conditions with his perfect metal poke-body. But, also say you have a lot of energies or maybe even one or two in the discard pile. . .well steelix prime can get those back and attach them to him with energy stream. Now energy stream is pretty good doing 30(50 if belted), but those energies you get back once you have 5 on him, you can use gaia crush for 100(120 belted) and you can discard a stadium with it too.

I think this deck is really good, but like I said, I'll probably only use it in league.

I like scyther SF better than afterimage because it has free retreat.

well yeah true. I was just thinking of the matter that you can't use slashng strike on scyther SF.

This is a really nice deck overall, but Scizor and Steelix have no synergy whatsoever outside of the fact that they are the same type. I've tried to play this deck once, but running straight Scizor/straight Steelix works much better.

However, if you insist on playing SciLix, I would recommend running Lucian's Assignment RR over Skymin as bench space will be pretty narrow, what with Uxie, Skarmory, Jirachi and Blissey.

I'd also remove the 2 Rare Candies and the 2 Rescue Energies (you still have 3 Steelix left once you lose one - Rescue's not worth it) for 4 Double Colorless Energy.

The Jirachi has no place in this deck -swap it and a Pokémon Communicator for 2 Warp Energies.
