Funnest deck to play?

What is the funnest deck in the current format that doesn't see a lot of play?
It has to at least be a little viable but its ok if it has some bad matchups against some of the top decks.

I have always loved palkia lock even though it isn't very good anymore.

Seviper and skuntank g is fun to me. I tried it at fl states and I won against a lostgar deck which inthought was funny.

Funnest isn't a word, but whatever :D

I actually really enjoy playing Sablelock - the challenge of getting and maintaining a lock. However, some don't like playing it for that exact reason.

Sablock is fun. I think Rotom is about as fun as it can get. I also like Uxiedonk and Beedrill donk myself.

Sablelock and Magnerock. By far the two most fun decks I've played in this mess of a format.

All of these are fun and Im going to try kgl and magnarock but I'm tired of playing archtypes. Does anyone have any less used ideas?

I think the funnest decks are anything that I get to disrupt with i.e. Sablock, Vilegar, Scizor/Umbreon

I also really love Jumpluff, It's super fun (and adorable)

I've always liked playing Gyarados, since the way it works is pretty unique, although once you are set up it gets less interesting.

I kinda like playing Arceus, as well. Too bad it was never a Tier 1 deck.

I like Tangrowth from CL, when you get at least a few DCs on it and charge it up on the bench, the look on my friends face when i say, "Grind,......180 damage,....Knockout" is fun.

That was a pretty early list. With some updates it works pretty well and it definitely has the fun factor. Pikamaster went 5-1 with it at States.

Any magnezone variant usually are pretty fun to me, especially using ERL to take 5 prizes. lol, other than that. I like Mothim, Palkia/Lucario COL, Steelix prime.

My favorite deck is my Dusknoir X / abamasnow spread deck... spread decks are always great fun ... taking six prizes with one blow is always fun... don't know how really viable it is... I will also PM you a deck idea which is super fun to play for me that I kinda want to keep secret : )

you start out with garchomp lv x and snipe the bench for prize cards then use Ryperior Lv X to as mortal kombat says "FINISH HIM!!!" it has destroyed lux chomp many times this guy at my legaue built one identical to the world champions deck and after loosing to RyChomp 5 times he doesnt use it anymore its fun having unlimited power! Ryperior Lv.X is an ANIMAl! dont know what he does google him!!!! lol

P.S luxchomp never went past 3 prize cards!

It all depends on what you consider fun I guess...I love Regigigas and consider it a blast to play (lol I'm a giant unstoppable basic, just try and stop me everything not named Machamp), but yeah...all depends on the person imo.

I did have some success once with a Nidoking/Nidoqueen deck. Though one deck I've pretty much never seen is a Metagross deck... it's like nobody likes the big guy either:
A. switching the opponent's Pokemon
B. Making K.O.s easier
C. giving a whole psychic deck free retreat
or
D. just plain kicking butt with Quad Grand Smash

Okay seriously, topcut or not, KGL is pretty much THE most fun deck you can play in this format. No one ever expects you to mill THEIR deck, and because no one knows what you will discard, it just gets really hilarious when unexpected stuff comes out of the blue.

One time I trashed luxchomp because I discarded three energy and swept five prizes, and took the last one via gatr, lol. Another time I trashed both garchomp lvx and his only aaron. Wacky.

Also, yeah, mothim/wormadam deck is darn cool. Throw in shaymin to make it viable. Heck, throw in a ton of trainers and seekers as well and watch your opponent weep as they struggle to kill the damn bug, lol.

Manectric tech an option if you wanna go serious against luxchomp.

GameOver is by far the most entertaining deck to use. If you really want to make your opponent hate life, use it, and enjoy. I've seen people almost in tears they were so angry after losing to it. :D

I would also say Kyogre & Groudon Legend, it's really fun to look at my opponent's face when I discard something extremely important. And that happens quite often. :biggrin:

Victreebel Lock is most fun imo. Use Memory Berry and drag their Azelfs etc active, they have 3 retreat and for 75% go down after their turn. ;)

I got 2nd at a small Battle Road with it and it's really nice to play it. Too sad it has autoloss to Dialgachomp, Steelix and Machamp Prime. =(

Altaria PT and Darkrai MD. The deck had got even better with the release of seeker and DCE. It is extremely disruptive.

I'm always looking for ways to make Cradily/Cherrim playable. My current iteration of it unfortunately needs Dialga G because of all the trainer lock out there, and it's just really clunky with that in there. But it's really good once it gets set up (with Dialga Poke-turned, of course).

My favorite deck to play for fun is:

Keckleon (RR)
+ 4x Special Darkness Energy
+ 2-3x Cherrim (SF) [Sunny Day]
+ Expert Belt
+ Shaymin LV.X [Thankfulness]
+ Lucario GL
+ Sunyshore Gym or Ruins of Alph
= 130 HP basic that does 90 -100 damage, then flips 3 coins for up to 60 more damage, x2 any weakness and ignore resistance.

I usually end up with 2 Darkness & 2 Cherrims (and Expert Belt) tops. But, 70 damage before flipping is still nice.
