EX Gold & Silver

Well, here recently I've been hearing about the next set...well, the set after Deoxys anyway. EX Gold & Silver. No doubt the set that'll finally bring back our favorite Pokemon from the 2nd Generation.

Anyway, what are you hoping from this expansion? Certainly we'll see re-do's of our favorite Neo-on cards, but which do you think?

I'm hoping for some fossil-supporting cards myself. Maybe a reprint of Buried Fossil or Underground Lake. I'd even settle for a new Fossil Egg :wink:.

What have you been smoking? Sceptile EX was very playable. It just happened to come out in BAR's prime. Venusar isn't that bad, just not good enough. And if you really want to play grass, try Vileplume EX. I know from experience, it's a beast to play against.

Gold/Silver is just a nickname because no one knows the actual name. It won't be called that I can tell you that for sure. Around that period they'll be trying to commercialize Emerald version, which you can get the three johto starters on, so that may be why the shadows of the evolutions appear in that picture. But Nintendo is trying to make it look like Johto doesn't exist, so they won't remake Gold and Silver, and they are only commercializing the CURRENT games on game boy advance, and later Pearl and Diamond. So this name is just a nickname because no one knows the actual name.

Yes please do that. Because with this people are thinking that Gold and Silver will be remade because Nintendo only commercializes the current games. My opinion, it's stupid wishful thinking. Wishful thinking from people that probably want them to reprint alot of those Neo cards so that Modified will effectively become unlimited, a very ridiculous format, ridiculous for it's constant one turn games and unbalanced game play.

no, we just want to see some of our favorite cards remade (not word for word, we don't want/need slowking back) A lot of peoples favorite pokemon come from the gold/sliver game and I think that nintendo will remake them at some point seeing as they still are in the games. I think that another minor set may come out in japan and then they could combine it and the quick construction packs and make one full set. I for one just want to see gatr back, not for its broken power but because its one of my favorite pokemon. And for the love of the game, make alakazam ex, ill pay you, please. 7 sets and no zamex. I will wait patiently for the return of the best psy pokemon ever but until that day comes.... I just don't know what to do. Maybe ill work on my machamp ex deck, oh wait.... :mad:

Seriously look at it this way. This'll be the start of the Emerald mini-block. QCP is obviously Emerald themed as well, and so will the Hoeen Gym Leader set be, to tie in with the special Gym leader (rematch) functions in Emerald Version.

RS- HL (Ruby and Sapphire block)
FRLG and TRR (FireRed and LeafGreen mini block)
Deo (special set for movie)
This set/Hoenn Gym set/QCP? If released anyhow (Emerald mini block)

Obviously a crazy wild theory, but its not like its not founded.... or grounded (what's the word).... I can't remember. There's always TCG sets to promote the GB(A) games, so Emerald will need that as well.

Even if it is not called EX Emerald... heck it could even be called EX Mayhem for all we know XP That could well be true. Are those distributors reliable?

well of course its not called gold and silver as those games are how old? But I don't think they will call it emerald either as the japanese did not get a set when the game came out in japan, or did they get Deoxys at that point? I don't think that we will know the name for awile but it should be a good set. As for the Hoenn gym set, has this been confermed? I don't see them making a new gym set, the last one was so bad. I for one hope they stop making gym sets. I don't even think I could remember the Hoenn gym leaders. We will get the QCP at some point but it will probley be combined with another set. The set was to large to leave out and to small to base a release on. It will be fun to see what they decide to do but the worst part is we have to wait until may to get our hands on the new set.

Alakazam ex would be a great idea.... I mean, most other classic Stage 2's have been "remade" as EX.... the starters, Dark Vileplume, Dark Ampharos/Neo Rev. Ampharos combo, neo gen johto starters possibly. However, if an Alakazam ex is made, remember it could just be completely different.

All the same, one needs to be made :P

theres only one 101 pokemon in Gold and Silver not enlese u count the unknowns that 127 pokemon about, i dont think u want 26 of 1 pokemon in a set and this set would have to have the Some of the orginal pokemon. So this set would not be called ex Gold and Silver which leaves at, the rumord name ex Mayham which sound like it would close the series of ex pokemon so we just need to wait and not suspect!
and this set was a practical assumpuation (guess) because worlds 05 had Typhlosion ,Feraligator , Megnium this set is open to be any thang basicly.
