Well, now the time has come! If you want to play against the best in the south, you need to come to the Louisiana State Championships! :biggrin:

When: Sunday, March 13th, 1 pm.

Prizes in the Main event include travel allowance ( $300.00, to be collected on site of Nationals) and a 4 day pass to the Pokemon Nationals at the Origins Gaming Convention puls 24 packs for 1st place in each age division. Prize structure goes down to top 8 in each age group!
1st -24 packs & the above mentioned prizes, trophy
2nd - 16 packs
3/4th- 8 packs
5th- 8th- 4 packs

So get your modified decks and see if you got what it takes to beat the best! :eek:

Should be a blast, I'm looking foward to all the State Championships this year. They're all gonna be so different. Different metagames colliding in each area! I can't wait to see what all emerges victorious at these events! ^_^

Seeing that I will be in Mobile the day before hand, of course I'll be here. I'm on vacation- gonna combine fun with Pokemon fun to get... more fun. I look forward to playing in this tournament and meeting and playing against new people. Make sure you get one of my fake cards! The 13th of March will be here before we know it!

The LA & AL states will be worth your travel. Just ask a member ofTeam Chicago who once got a taste of Team Texas. He'll tell you it's worth it..

A DS was recently added to Dale's wish list because of Pokemon Dash soon to come out. He's very excited to know he's got 3 chances at one. :clap:

5 days to go... and I leave in 2. I got 3 different decks ready just for this weekend... and my main deck is ready to rock, after going 4-2 on sunday. (Almost was 5-1, luck cost me the other loss, who knows what would have happened?) I barely missed top 8, so it's time to make up for that this weekend. We have 3 extras confirmed for this weekend. I think there is a possibility for 2 or so more. So right now our confirmed traveling crew is up to 7 players and 1 computer-running father. ;D
