Playing Lv.X card onto an SP?

I searched around the forums and Google, but still couldn't find a clear answer.

I have a Gliscor Lv.X.

Can I play the Lv.X card onto an SP Gliscor Elite 4?

The [symbol for Elite 4] is part of that Pokemon's name.
You need to play Gliscor Lv. X onto a Gliscor.
Not on a Gliscor [4].
