Well, I have always been an enthusiastic pokemon player/collector... But Ive heard of the TCG tourneys and stuff, and they sound like alot of fun. I just have 2 dilemma's...
1: I live in Texas, and I dont know of any TCG tourneys nearby... Any ones nearby?
2: What is the best way to come and enjoy the event to its fullest?
3: (Cuz I can...) What is the benefits of coming??
Thanks again!

1) you can search tourneys near you on the pokemon website. Texas has good number.
2) come with friends, play a deck your comfortable with, and have fun.
3)Ratings (if you care about them), and prizes if you do well. You can also trade with the large number of people, and thats always good.

Im guessing, Pokemon.com lol? And I dont have an up to date deck, rather, it would be banned... But I can always try and make a new one.... Also, are the traders, like people who trade old cards? sorry, I am a nube... :P

If you live in the San Antonio area there is a League every sunday at different locations (usually at Gamelot) And the texas gym is a league. Leagues are always about fun, if you live in the SA area I would love to meet you :D

You'd be surprised at what people bring to League.
Just go for it, bro! You don't lose anything but time for going ^_^.
And, just as an FYI, take a look here (http://www.pokemon.com/us/organized-play/events/)to find Leagues and stuff.
