bounce energy & expert belt

Bounce energy lets you return a basic energy when played from your hand to your pokemon but does the pokemon need to have a basic energy to attach bounce energy to it. Or can you have no energies or special energies to your pokemon and still attach bounce energy to it.


Expert belt powers up atks by 20 but does that include atks that don't do damage for example "energy absorbtion".

Ug. Bounce Energy. One of the worst energy cards they ever put out.
We don't do advice in this forum. ...but... don't play Bounce.

As stated in the first sentence on the card, you have to have an energy attached that you can return. You don't get a "free" attachment if there is no energy attached.

Bad, bad card.

You have to do some damage before you can add to it via Expert Belt (or anything else that adds damage, for that matter.
