Anyone read the Toshihiro Ono Poké graphic novels (Elec shock o' Pika, Elec Pika booga, etc.? What did u think? What were the good/bad of the events/characters?

I thought it was a fantastic series. It was told brilliantly and offered a new perspective that was truely great.

BTW he said he was making a new Magic: the Gathering series...anyone heard of that one?

Haven't heard of anything from him outside Pokemon...

His stuff rocks/ed, I wish I could have gotten hold of more of his stuff, my knowledge of the storyline doesn't even extend past the first graphic novel, although I did read a friend's copy of a single comic issue that had "I'm Your Venusaur". I really wish I had been able to read more of his stuff. This is the kind of stuff they should have based the anime on, although it came in black and white it would still appeal to the younger audience just based on the fact that it's still Pokemon.

I loved those Manga titles. When I went to the store to pick the lastest issues up, they were always sold out.

I have three of them, and they are very good.

I've got all four and they're great. They're available at Viz's online store if you can't find them.

Only $12.95 each, as opposed to $22 for only the fourth one on Amazon.
