can u use ur first attack on ur pokemon if you add energy to it to use the 2nd attack? so can u switch back and forth on ur attacks on ur active pokemon?

If i understood what you said correctly then yes.

You can use any attack printed on your active pokemon to attack as long a you have the necessary energy to use it.
