2 packs, 2 primes?

I just used a couple of codes on PTCGO and picked triumphant. Out of two codes, I got two electrode primes. Are rare cards really common on PTCGO? These are the first two packs I've opened, so I don't know how to compare them to anything else.

not really.you just got extremely lucky.primes are "out" at the time,pokemon "ex" are in.

TCGO can be luckier or less lucky. In real life, there's a set number of chase cards per box, right? But in TCGO, each pack stands by itself. So let's say that TM has 6 primes per box. That's 6/36 or 1/6. So the odds of pulling two primes in a row on TCGO was 1/36. Consider yourself slightly lucky.

As a side note, this is also why people are redeeming like 40+ codes and not seeing a single EX card. For NDE, the odds are 3/36 aka 1/12.

I'm not so sure about this. I've noticed that pulling specific rares seems to be streaky. I've pulled 3 of the same rare card in a row on multiple occasions.

Id have to agree. The pull ratios are very messed up on the TCGO. I redeemed my first 2 booster boxes worth the codes when ND first came out and I pulled something like 6 EXs? Which is about right. Then later I redeemed another 40 something and only got a Kyurem EX and a Zoroark SR.

Out of 200 codes I didn't open a single Shiny out of ND ;)

PTCGO is weird. I can count the number of EX's I've pulled on one hand, but I've pulled emboar, hydregion, and Zoroark.
