Ok here goes MY first touny report on pokegym ^_^

Round one Spencer (papazit_canada) - Magma
Ok, i didn't know what to exspect, having not played a magma deck with my gardie.... It went over well, surprizingly considering since i hardly beat spencer in modified tournies....gave up 3 prizes so i could get set up...a dunsparce, ralts, and gardevoir....by then, i had gardie, gex,kirlia, and pidgot and was able to take 4 prizes then he ko'd Gex...i took last 2 prizes with Surprise! tm to change gardie to gex, boost and bang game over. (energy charge helped me not, to tails = sadness) spencer ended the day with 4 wins two loses

Round 2 Landon (spencer's brother) -Magma some deck but he had charms, spencer had cristal.
perty much the same game here....well same deck same three prizes lost to get set up....same set up...same none working energy charge...i think landon a had a bit better of a hand tho...by the time i got 4 prizes. landon had 1 left. i needed to get my Surprise! tm with a copy cat for 5 cards...( i already used my quick search for something else) of coarse, i didn't get...he killed gardie, and something else to win.
Landon went on, 6-0 not sure how that happend but i knew i would have to play him again if i wanted to win....

Round 3 Ricky (some random person that came up against calgary) -Draggie/random stuff that dosn't matter
Rickey was a new player, and didn't realy stand much of a chance, altho he did enjoy himself. one of his random pokemon was d sandslash / dmarowak...i just needed i not horrible hand to win, and i got it... not much too say other wise...i'm not sure his final rank....

Round 4 Luke (BEX) -Zap-turn-dos
I was worried about this deck, since my last enocouter with zappy ended en a complette shut out on my part. i pulled out a psychic energy from my shirt pocket, that i got a hole bunch of people to sign from last years provincals. It will bring me good luck i said....and it did ^_^ luke started with a zappy, not being able to do anything for 3 turns, i had pidgeot, gardie, and gex out by then. had to let dunsparce die and i surprised! tm to save mu gex but still gave him a prize for kirlia. after that, i just keep dealing conseistent damage and like all zappy decks, it eventully had nothing left to do exsetp sit on the bench.
I do know that he had a energy shortage in late game, whitch stoped him from making a comeback. sorry luke another game win for me...luke went of to finish 3-3 he lost to both spencer and landon as well. maby next year luke.....

Round 5 Christa - Crobat ex
Being the my bosses daughter (shes 11, don't u dare say anything) we played against each others deck quite a few times...and was my main play tester. the final count before the provincals. 7-2 for me... (the to i lost was against my boss, but i did beat him twice as well)
i wasn't too worried, but i know what that deck could do. After a pittiful 3 mulligans, 2 shes drew for she had one on the first...i was worried, yet quite relived that she only had i Mr.mime odds. (a new addition i didn't know about) dunsparce got me my basics, and kirlia didn't do anygood, dew to a tails on energy removel....by then, she had a couple zubats on we bench with a singel grass on one of them. once gex come out, i ohko mr mime for two. out came out zubat, evovles to golbat attach an energy, and easy 40 to gex. next to turns, with help of boost. the game was over.
i think crista finished 3-3

Round 6 final qualfing. Geoff- T-tar/pidgeot
Ok last round...i didn't NEED to win this one, but if i did it would garinty me to the top 4....otherwise it will go to tie breaker %. I was worried about, this games as well. geoff was 4-1 but from what i heard, didn't give up a prize for the first 4 games. lets cap this fast so i can tell u why i didn't win, both bad starts, + he had resintence to me...have a slow start, he could do much besides grind, and thats perty much it he didn't even get pidgeot till late game. I don't rember my start. or set up so i'll tell u why iu lost. #1) pidgey was on bench from start and i had 2 celio in my hand. i went second, so i had the advantage. I went to ceilo, pidgeotto in the prizes....:( so much for that) i took out pidgeot hoping for candy....didn't come till later.
#2) to prevent t-tar and other resestences i played 2 magnetic storm in my deck (also to counter runis)
both were in my prizes....
#3) two boost were in my prizes. after using two i couldn't get anymore......cause i drew a stadium for a prize......
#4) both energy charges were tails AGAIN!!!

Nothing much of exsitement....i just got set up quickly,.....i think turn one pidgeot...he never got past one dragge...i don't even think he gotta attack with him ether ^_^

this was pain full.....2 ralts vs voltorb....
he went first...
asttached energy, and paralized me .....i draw a kirlia....i have in my hand.....1 psy energy, 1 kirlia, 1 gardey, 1 pidgeot and a stevens....i used stevens for 1 and gotta boost...i attached the psy on the bench ralts and evolved to kirlia, then pased my turn....
Turn two....he played wallys training....trode ex X_X attaches and discards a dark to kill ralts...
i sent up kirlia..
drew a energy charge...*woot* lol and attches boost...and dose 50...reaslizses right after i should have tried to discard with removel beem....but i rolled anyway and gotta tails....he attaches and ko's kirlia aftre discarding two *worst hand ever*

i don't rember how this one went....first turn pidgeot again i think...( i went second ) i ended up wining cause he sacrafised trode ex, to charge draggie, to kill gex....(we both have a prize left..) i sent up gadie with 1 energy, psy shadowed.....surpirsed! tm afor gex, quicxk search boost....and death...i felt sorry for him, that was the best he did, and he couldn't do anything about it....) he was crying to after.... :(
FINAL landon won two in a row so we meet again....
Round 1 landon being all cocky like he normaly is when he plays me and he won the first round...like before i gave up to many cards at the start and never took the lead....i was able to take for prizes tho.
(it was a long match dispite the shortness of this discription)

i go first and was able to get turn 2 pidgeot while he started with a groudon....i was able to keep him down to only one prize well i took all 6. Once again it was a long game, and i thought it was alot closer.

Tie Breaker of the finals.... Closest game i've ever played....and after landon just sufferd his first lost today, he seemed a little shaken....and defently not as cocky.
This game went right to the wire, and he would have won if he got a heads on a pokemon reversle but i had my lucky psy energy in my pocket and it didn't let me down!!!
Still one prize left each i have landon on the run. He had a groudon on with 2 energy and
i had my gex up with gardie on bench and pidgeot and some random other stuff.....
Pidgeot at 4 8 damage on him beacause i was forced to attack with him earlier...and he already did two linere attacks on him...so i knew what he was going to do if i couldn't stop it....I was 10 damage away from killing him and taking the last prize with both feed back and psystorm (after attaching boost) now this would be easy right psyshadow on gex and win right? WRONG to my horror, my last 2 psychic energies were in my hand!!! no prob right, i'd just quick serach for copycat and get them in my deck right... wrong only celio left as far as supporters...soo there were stuck in my hand....ok no prob i'll just take a energy charge and hope for a heads right WRONG none left, and 3 turns ago i thought i need bost energy so i put two in my deck not 1 psy and 1 boost ... that was the only heads i gotten with energy charge outta all 12 games and at least 17 flips....ok fine just retreet for pidgeot, and resentence will save me from lienere attack right? WRONG i can't retreet with boost energy attached to GEX strenght charm???no room in my deck.....and the sad thing is, i took out a energy for a energy charge this morning!!!! i also came up with many other ways i could have won too....but i don't want to bore u now....lol if ur still reading thanks for reading, and i hope u enjoyed!!!
