Defense is in there just in case enemy wields EXs and to counter Desert ruins when it is played by ducking under it! Charms get through most difficult pokemon. Reviews plz

Hi hiddenlegion,
Nice idea with Metagross (looks mighty similiar to mine..) i suggest running both Dusclops and Gorebyss (maybe a 2-2 line of each). This ensures the deck counters the weaknesses nicely with 2 pokemon that not only fit the theme, but can be powered up quickly. Good luck with the deck, will try an identical version for myself too!

How does the normal form EX help? IMO it is the worst of the three

the defense ex sucks, don't play it, and why dusclops? why not banette or dark hypno or something?
My son has this deck and plays quite well with it. His version may be slightly different of course. I find he does well having all 3 versions of Deoxys ex in the deck. The defense one stops Zapdos ex dead in it's tracks (and other ex's as well of course.) The attack one is very powerful with the right amount of energy, and the other one does well too. I wouldn't diss it until you try it. The only things I'd do to change it concern running the 2 different types of Metagross, and I kinda wonder about your choice of gyms. Is there anything else you could use? That way you could use the metal Beldum (along with the other Beldum) specifically to get a Jirachi for second turn evolutions. Oh yeah that's a card for pokeBODIES. So what's it there for? Oh yeah, and he runs metal as well - no multi.

Anyone have any new thoughts they can give to this thread. My son is looking into using a deoxy's pyschic deck. :pokeball:

I am also running this kind of deck. Well I decided to put in a line of:
2x Pidgey - 1x Pidgeotto - 2x Pidgeot
This line I am running instead of your line with:
Clampearl/Duskull x3
Gorebyss/Dusclops x3
I am also running a few more psychic energy so I can use the attack deoxys to it's fullest.
I like your idea with the DRE
I am using all the deoxys because they give you a really god chance of surviving the most attacks and deal alot of damage.
Deoxys ex #97: No matter what you'll deal atleast 30 damagde, and if you are playing against really strong pokemon's with a big use of energy you can deal great damage in all you turns (+ no discarding)
Deoxys ex #98: This one I only use if I have to deal great damagde very fast. (% discarding)
Deoxys ex #99:Prevent all damagde from the opponent's pokemon ex, how can you not love this, I keep one in my deck, just to be safe.
Well I like running a Mr Mime ex and using it to stall because of it's poke-body. Preventing damagde done if it's: 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 or 180.
Trainers; I like running some switch, because of the great manovre you can do with it! Evolve a pokemon on the bench, and slam replace it with your active pokemon without discarding valuable energy!
I hope this gave you anything you could use. And i hope it seams right...
Worked for me!

I like the ideas, but don't diss cards.when i play psychic i normaly play gardy, but deoxys is becoming a new venture.
Yes, i think pidgeot is good in there to get 'gross out fast. You could use HL jirachi, but he's a little on the wild side.
Try it with ss and dx xatu, who knows it could save you a game or too. I'm not promising anything though.
