Do vendors purchase nonholo promos at a lower rate than bulk c/u? I mean, I often see people who run businesses advertising to buy c/u at around $0.05/ea, but only offering $0.03/ea or something like that for bulk promos. I don't get it. Promos are RARER.

Maybe players were the ones that dump Promos more than a collector. And a large. Number are reprints plus some wont move

Because T&T has the oddest bulk rates lately...

They must be assuming that when people go to leagues, there are all the leftovers, and I mean, I'm sure EVERYONE who goes to leagues gets like 10 or so of those promos, it seems every trader I deal with has like 66 Whirlipedes or whatever.

You aren't alone on this thought. I like to base my collection on rarity, not desirability.

This may not be the case everywhere, but what is the case is that everyone who goes to league probably gets at least one Whirlipede over time. And since nobody wants more than one Whirlipede, well...You get the picture.

I guess it just depends on the place that's buying them? The place I sell my bulk foils to buys them for ¢13 each whether they're league promo foils or regular set foils. My opinion is if your shop/buyer isn't offering much for them then just find someone else who is. Not everyone treats league promos as less.

This is not just one instance; many vendors I know purchase nonholo promos at an extremely low rate. There has to be some reasoning behind it.

Just nonholo promos?
What about nonholo rares or league promos...
Those too are ridiculous
