Hey folks,

I will soon be sending a bunch of cards to PSA for grading, but I have one question that nobody seems to have the answer to . . . perhaps someone can help me.

I have an opened "Trainer Deck A" and want to have the Machamp graded . . . will PSA grade trainer-deck cards or will they consider it inauthentic and send it back ungraded?

I don't want to send it if they aren't going to accept it.

Thanks for the help!

I need to know this too! I always assumed that they don't but you never know. As far as I know none are graded but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't...

I have heard that you have to supply them with enough evidence that the card is authentic. You may have to send the card and more evidence in multiple times but I think that you can convince them to grade it. I do not have personal experience with doing this, but I have heard this from other collectors.

See this completed auction from ebirdman:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item564a46c2fb&item=370613338875&nma=true&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&rt=nc&si=tMJAYgRMcwpob4%252FBZNdujJmZLfE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Copied from his auction: I SPENT ALOT OF TIME DOCUMENTING THESE CARDS TO GET PSA TO GRADE THEM.

So, I don't know how easy it would be to convince PSA to deem your card authentic. Anyway, good luck and I would be really glad to hear what you find out!
