Okay, my very first State Tournament. I'm so excited. So I get there about 10:10 AM, and the store is just opening. So I meet up with Jake, borrow a couple of Celio(yah, I know =/), and fill out my list for 11-14. Here is the deck.

4x Lotad(1 Surprise, 1 Blot, 2 Rain Splash)
4x Lombre(1 Surprise, 2 Blot, 1 Ambush)
4x Ludicolo(2x Happy Dance, 2x Swing Dance)

And so I fill out my sheet while Jake frets about which deck to use. He ends up being one of the last to turn one in. And then we wait around. And the pairings are announced.
Round 1 vs Mark ??? with Ludicolo/Magcargo/Articuno EX/Quilfish
So the game starts, and we start playing. He gets out Quilfish, annoying thing. I get rid of it and another later on. He doesn't get out much, gets out Magcargo and his Happy Dance Ludicolo. I take care of those, and I have my swarm going strong. 1-0
Round 2 vs Jake Shpringman(DarkJake) with D. Amphy/D. Ttar/Pidgeot
And would you believe it, I play Jake! Knowing I'll lose(don't tell me you missed the weakness I have.), I start into the game. We get set up, he gets out some stuff, and when he uses Pidgeot to get D. Amphy, both of them were in his prizes! I thought this was too funny. So we play on, I keep on using Ludicolo, KO'ing stuff, and he finally pulls out his Amphy, but I beat it, it was too late. 2-0
So things are going good. I'm thinking, 'don't blow this, Jared'.
Round 3 vs ????? with Rocket's Deck
And I play against a rocket's deck, filled out with Snorlax and Raikou EX. We end up going back and forth, I end up taking out one of his EX's for the win. 3-0
So, I at least have tie-breaker % on my side. Jake is 2-1, and lot's of us are 3-0 or 2-1.
Round 4 vs Andy ????? with Rocket's Deck
And it is another one I face. I figured, no sweat. But he proved me wrong. It was tough, we were staying pretty close, and then he pulls out his Snorlax EX, pounding away for 100, and I lose. 3-1
Yay! Pizza! I was really getting hungry too. My dad bought me a soda. Thanks!
And I figure, just put me against someone I could beat. That was a waste of a wish.
Round 5 vs Mike Hudson with Gardevoir
Yep. It was Gardevoir. He beat me from the start. 3-2
And now, Taylor and I are talking about tie-breaker %, hoping Jake beats Chelsea, me so I have a higher chance of getting in, and her because she wanted Chelsea to lose. And so, Chelsea just barely beat Taylor in to the T8. Only by when they first lost.
And so, the Top 8 pairings are set, something like this.

???? vs Andy
Jared vs Turiq
So I'm against Turiq. Yay. A Tyranitar player.
Top Eight Game 1
And would you believe it, I'm playing the guy who loaned me the 2x Celio. He get's out his Tyranitar, one after another, and I can't get anything. 0-1
Top Eight Game 2
A lot better start, we end up battling it out, but I crush him. 1-1
Top Eight Game 3
I end up taking 10 minutes for this game. That's all we had left on time. I make sure that it ends up being in the middle of my turn, and I win. Yay!
So I'm top 4, which is pretty good. This is the Top 4.
Jake vs Jessica
Jared vs ????
So I'm playing the Kansas guy, while Jake takes on Jessica(he played her at cities too.).
Apparently, he plays Rocket.
Top Four Game 1
He beats me badly. No chance. Get's out Sneasel EX. 0-1
Top Four Game 2
Even though his Sneasel is in his prizes, he still beats me. 0-2
So I get 9 packs of Deoxys, 2 POP, the States Machoke, and Vince didn't give me my pin. I want that!

Taylor, she wanted Jake to win in round 5. Even though Jake beat her in round 3 or 4 ;).
