Georgia Gym Challenge - 2005 !!

Hi to all.

I've been pretty busy lately, but I wanted to announce the Georgia Gym Challenge so you can begin planning.

It will be held at the "Fire Mountain Restaurant" on June the 25th. Registration will begin at 10:00 AM and play will begin at 11:00 AM for the first two rounds.

Single elimination will consist of the best two-out-of-three – one hour time limit.
Jeff Reynolds – the best Judge in the country – will be our Head-Judge.

I will address more information on www.georgiapokemon.com, but I will say this:

Apparently, some individuals went to other restaurants during our State Championship and brought food back into the building of Fire Mountain. Because of this, what was a free venue – is now a paid venue and there are stricter guidelines, but none that will affect the game-play of the event.

You do not need to support Fire Mountain Restaurant by purchasing their food, but you must understand that if you choose to bring your own food and refreshments – or if you choose to go to another restaurant – it will not be allowed on there premises of Fire Mountain Restaurant.

I’m sure most of you completely understand why.

I will have more info posted on our site, along with directions and any additional information. If you have any questions – post them here or you can email me.

Door prizes have not yet been determined, but I will be including some “Official Japanese Pokemon Sleeves”.

I look forward to seeing you all there for a great event in Georgia.

Well I don't know what the final standings were, but i figure i'll give my shout-outs.

Greg - Awesome event, thanks for waiting on the ppl (myself included) who got stuck in traffic.

And I'm glad you feel the way you do about my match w/ Steph. She is great ( your very lucky ) and i HATED beating her. I really fely bad about it- wanted her to get an invite. Thanks for undrstanding Jim. Your the man! Take care of yourself :)

Greg great job running the event and it went nice and smooth. Great door prizes with a nice touch with prizes from Blockbuster!!! I had a great time and it was a nice change playing vs judging.

Jim what can I say but WOW what a 3rd game...you got me in swiss and I think we got what we hoped for with that 3rd game (after getting those first two out of the way...LOL). You are definitely a great player with a lot of class!!!
