im from the Philippines and i just recently bought a pokemon emerald version for the gameboy advance
but when i started playing the game i saw someone that looks a lot like prof birch and a lotad, but the professors name in the game is prof. odd. while the three starting pokemon was not named mudkip, torchic and treecko but they certainly look the same.
does this mean i bought a fake pokemon emerald or is it just poor translation???
also between ruby and saphire version which do u think is better?
hope u can help me
thanks

Umm I would think for you Emerald would come out at the same time as the U.S. or later. I am pretty sure it is a fake. Yeah like 99% sure. Do you know the release date of Emerald over where you live?

100% fake. Always check the release date first. I saw a english Pokemon Emerald on ebay and said bleh!

Here's an idea to know how it's fake or not: On pokemoncenter.com, they have a actual picture of one for preorder since it's a official pokemon site. Just compare that one with other one's on ebay n stuff and if they don't match, it's a fake.

One of the game shops in my country mentioned that if I order now, I can get the Game this saturday.
Your Fake Cartridge can now only link to japanese versions of the game.
I presonally feel that Ruby is better.
You can combine with a solarbeam Pokémon to continuous solarbeam.

I wonder. If you buy a fake game, is it illegal? And can you turn in the person you bought it from to get a reward?

Nice try, but I don't think so.
