I wonder about their numbers - they claim that Pokemon has earned around $825 mil and then Yu-Gi-Oh has $725 in a single year. Did they count all the years Pokemon has been selling or does this mean that even though Pokemon was a "non-event" last year it STILL made more money than YGO? That would truly warm my heart!

Yes, that was last year alone. Not overall. :)

Supposedly, it's just last year, but that amazes me.

and they said yugioh was 3 times more popular than pokemon was at its height of popularity. sure that could be, it did kind of seem like it, the money speaks otherwise though :p

Meowth is the Bling Bling Pokemon. No one is gonna take his place.

It Yugi, not "Yu-Gi".

It Yugi, not "Yu-Gi".

Does that really matter?

It Yugi, not "Yu-Gi".
Then you'd better tell Konami because they're mistakenly printing Yu-Gi-Oh on the back of every one of their cards...

the name of the character's Yugi, but the show/game/etc's called Yu-Gi-Oh.... which is just weird. *shrugs*

So even though YGO was supposedly "it" last year, and Pokemon's popularity was supposedly down the drain, it still made more money? Ace...

Ummm did I miss something here? Is this the pokemon boards or Yu-Gi-Oh? :P It is cool to see Pokemon still going and on the list of Forbes. :thumb:
